The recovery generally takes 3-4 weeks. The bandages can be removed the next day after your surgery. It is recommended to apply ice packs for the first few days to prevent the initial swelling. Pay attention not to bend forward to minimise the pressure on your head.

All stitches will be removed within the 1–2 weeks. The swelling should noticeably disappear after the 2nd week and, you will likely feel normal enough to go back to your daily activities after a week of your operation. You should avoid strenuous activities for approximately 4 weeks.
